Who are Hendrix Training?
Lucy Moffat and Steve Hemsley formed Hendrix The Dog in 2008 to help organisations boost their employees’ confidence by using acting techniques in their employee training and personal development strategies. This includes providing innovative presentation skills coaching.
All the world's a stage...
When people are at work they take on a role. They have internal and external audiences to engage and influence and, like an actor, must make the most of their voice and body language to help them meet their objectives, particularly when presenting or in a meeting. The company is named after Lucy’s Spanish Waterdog, Hendrix.
Lucy is a professional actress and drama teacher who trained at the Italia Conti Academy in London for seven years. She played the feisty Abby in the Channel 4 soap Brookside, has appeared in the West End since the age of nine and toured the UK in productions of ‘Annie’ and ‘Metropolis’. She also had a number one single in the UK dance charts in 1999. She is a leader in employee training and development and in delivering presentation skills coaching.
- Steve is an experienced media trainer and actor. As a working journalist for more than 25 years he has written for the business pages of most national newspapers.
